Students play the role of assessor and worker as they learn how to properly set up a workstation to fit their specific needs, promote optimal posture and minimize risk of injury. Additionally, learn to identify common repetitive strain injuries stemming from increased technology use, including text neck, mousing elbow, gaming thumb and computer hunch, and explore preventative and remedial stretches that you can do to get ahead of the game. Regardless of the type of work, the career path, or the individual, the effects of technology affect us all. In addition to work, daily tasks such as communication and school are all impacted by technology, texting, and social platforms, making it almost impossible to escape some of the many side effects.
